Windreach Farm

As a registered charity, WindReach Farm officially opened its doors on June 16, 1989.  Specially designed to meet the needs of individuals with a variety of disabilities, WindReach Farm includes fully wheelchair accessible pathways, trails, buildings, barns and stables.  Offering five Core Programs, WindReach welcomes both the special needs and able-bodied communities.

Nova's Ark

Nova’s Ark began as a dream by former special education facilitator and retired elementary school Principal, Mary-Ann Nova. Nova’s Ark is a CRA Registered Charity providing social and communication opportunities for people of all ages and abilities involving a wide range of gentle, therapy animals.

A charitable organization that delivers enriching sports and fitness, arts, research and education, and life skills opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

FishAbility Sports Club

FishAbility Sports Club provides sports and recreational programs to help support the physical, mental, social and emotional well being of any age or disability.  This adapted fishing and boating experience takes place on Rice Lake near Campbellford, Ontario.

 Steer Friends

Conveniently located in the heart of Stouffville, Steer Friends provides day program support to youth and adults with disabilities and complex care needs across York Region and the GTA. We serve a diverse group of individuals including those living with cerebral palsy, autism, genetic and seizure disorders. Many of our clients have graduated high school and our program provides a space where they can thrive and continue to be a part of the community.

The award winning Access 2 program is a collaborative partnership between Easter Seals and over 500 movie theatres, cultural attractions, entertainment venues, and recreation facilities across Canada.  Designed for people of all ages who have a permanent disability and require the assistance of a support person, the goal of the Access 2 Program is to improve social inclusion and provide access to entertainment, cultural and recreation opportunities and experiences without any added financial burden.

 Sarah's Place

Sarah’s Place is a new day program in Durham Region for adults with special

needs opening Summer 2023. The program runs year-round and is offered to individuals who have graduated from High

School or are no longer in the school system. Sarah’s Place programs are designed to encourage

self-confidence, creativity, friendships, life skills and a sense of community.

Melly's Place (Whitby)

Melly's Workplace is a registered charity that works for adults over the age of 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We provide the support and experiences that they are asking for through Melly's Market + Café, our not-for-profit café, which is open to the public.
